Mangaluru, Jun 13: The Institute of Aviation Studies organized ‘Elegance in uniform,’ a vibrant and engaging ramp walk event aimed at highlighting professionalism, grooming standards, and industry-specific dress codes. The event was conducted under the esteemed guidance of dean Dr Pavithra Kumari, head of the department, Management Forum coordinator, and other faculty members. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from postgraduate students of MBA Aviation Management and undergraduate students from BBA Aviation Management, BBA Aviation Travel and Tourism Management, and BBA Aviation and Logistics Management.
The event featured three distinctive categories - CEO attire, cabin crew attire, and professional course students attire - allowing students to creatively and professionally represent various roles within the aviation industry. In the UG level cabin crew attire category, Yashoda J Nagaral, III BBA Aviation and Logistics Management won the first place.







J Ashika, III BBA Aviation Management secured the runner-up position. For the CEO attire female category, Ananya III BBA Aviation Management won the first place and Preethika II BBA Aviation Management as the runner-up. In the CEO attire male category, Varshith II BBA Aviation and Logistics Management won the first place, with Muhammed Farhan C III BBA Aviation and Logistics Management as runner-up. In the professional course students attire – female category, Thrisha H Shetty II BBA Aviation Management claimed the winner's title and Merlyn Juje Fernandes II BBA Aviation Management was runner-up.
The male category in the same segment saw Febin Roshan II BBA Aviation and Logistics Management as the winner, with Anandhakrishnan A II BBA Aviation and Logistics Management as runner-up. At the PG level, the professional course students attire female category winner was Gopika Raj P S, and in the male category winner was Dinon Hacvids D’Souza.
‘Elegance in uniform’ not only celebrated the aesthetics of professional dress but also reinforced its significance in building a confident and industry-ready personality. The event successfully cultivated awareness among students about the importance of personal presentation and grooming, making it a memorable and inspiring experience for all involved.
