Teaser of Tulu film ‘Netharakere’ released, creates buzz in Coastalwood

Mangaluru, Jun 15: The teaser of the upcoming Tulu movie Netharakere has been released, creating a stir in the regional film industry. Directed by Swaraj Shetty under the banner of Astra Productions and produced by Lanchulal K S, the film is a unique commercial entertainer with distinct characters that have piqued audience curiosity and anticipation.

The shooting of the film has been completed, with major portions filmed in Chelar, Mulki, and Kinnigoli. The team is now gearing up for a theatrical release in the last week of June.
Swaraj Shetty, who has written the story and dialogues, also directs and plays the lead role. Dishali Poojary stars as the female lead, while Suman Talwar and Lanchulal K S appear in special roles. The cast also includes Prithwin Polali, Yuva Shetty, Anil Uppala, Pushparaj Bolluru, Vijay Maiyya, Neeth Poojary, Utsav Vamanjoor, Chandrashekar Siddakatte, Manish Shetty Upira, Bhavya Poojary, Namitha Kiran, Sunitha, Vinayak Jappu, Bhagawan, and Keerthan Mulki.

The key crew includes Swaraj Shetty for story and direction, Uday Ballal as the cinematographer, Vinod Raj Kokila for music, Ganesh Neerchal for editing, and Mass Maad and Tiger Shiva for stunts. Yatheesh Poojary serves as the executive producer, Vijay Maiyya as the line producer, and Rajesh Kudla as the production manager.

The direction team includes Avinash S, Neeth Poojary, Karthik Jayachandran, and Thulasidas Manjeshwar. Makeup is handled by Chetan and art direction by Vipin. Netharakere will be released not only in Tulu but also in other Indian languages, aiming to establish itself as a pan-India film.
