Glowinstar Integrated School inducts new student leaders for 2025–26

Udupi, Jun 6: Glowinstar Integrated School, Ambalpady, ushered in a new academic year with the official induction of its student cabinet for 2025–26 during a solemn investiture ceremony held on campus.

The event began with a prayer song, invoking divine blessings, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by principal Dr T J Quadros, headmistress Shantha Fernandes, head boy Namith H Shetty, and head girl Fadwa Afaf Ashraf of Class X.

The highlight of the day was the investiture of the newly elected student parliament. The young leaders received their badges of office from the principal and headmistress, symbolizing the trust and responsibility bestowed upon them by the school. The principal then administered the oath of office, with the cabinet members pledging to fulfill their duties with sincerity and dedication.

In his address, Dr Quadros congratulated the newly elected team and emphasized the importance of leadership qualities such as integrity, responsibility, and service. He encouraged students to view school activities as an opportunity to develop and demonstrate these traits.

The event was compered by Thrishan R Poojary of Class X. Dharshini of Class X welcomed the gathering, while Mithali, also from Class X, proposed a vote of thanks. The programme was coordinated by Sumana, Kismitha Poojary, Vijay Kini, Shraddha Peje, and Kavan.
