Until they begin installing electricity cables underground, like large metro cities, such losses will continue to happen annually. In addition to being difficult to install, these electric poles pose a serious risk to humans and animals during the rainy season since they frequently break or fall as a result of strong winds or falling tree branches. MCC and MESCOM should come together to develop a long-term, less costly way to reinstall them underground.
