Holy Redeemer School hosts medical emergency awareness drive for students

Beltangady, Jun 19: Holy Redeemer English Medium School students underwent an awareness programme on medical emergencies on June 6th.

Vikram Paul, emergency trauma care technician and Jenny Mol, patient care coordinator of KMC Jyothi Hospital, Beltangady were the resource persons.

The programme aimed at educating the students to know the actions needed to be taken during medical emergencies they come across at school or at home.

The immediate measures to take during common medical emergencies like wounds, burns, bleeding, giddiness, choking, cramps and breathlessness, were explained with live demonstrations.

The informative programme helped the students on how to prepare and take actions during medical emergencies which they may come across.

Merwin D'Souza of class 10 gave feedback on the session. Teacher Preetha D'Souza hosted the event.
