Bantwal to host educational fest by Chinnaraloka Trust on June 22

Bantwal, Jun 18: The Chinnaraloka Seva Bandhu and Chinnaraloka Mokeda Kalavidaru Seva Trust will organise an educational fest featuring student scholarships, free book distribution, and talent awards on the evening of June 22 at Sparsha Kalamaandira, B C Road. This was announced by Chinnaraloka trustee Thevu Tharanath Kottari and president Mohanadas Kottari Munnur at a press conference held at B C Road Press Club.

The programme will be inaugurated by Jagannath Chowta Badigudde, member of the Dakshina Kannada District Religious Council, and presided over by B Sanjeev Poojary, proprietor of Gurukrupa Petroleum, B C Road.

Distinguished guests expected to grace the occasion include Bhuvanesh Pachchinadka, Balaji Bailu Chandrahass Rai, P Jayaram Rai Vittal, Sudarshan Jain Panjikallu, Sarapady Ashok Shetty, B Vishwanath, Anil Pandit, Rajesh Mendon, Ganesh Kolya, Manjunath, Pushpavati, Rajesh Bolanturu, Presilla Evelyn D’Souza, Ramakrishna Rao, Raja Chandthimar, and Vijayakumar Kottari Adyar.

Students Prarthana, Azka Khateeja Kunnil, Tanvi, and Shrishaila, who excelled in SSLC exams, will be felicitated with talent awards.

The programme will begin with a dance performance by students of Bolanturu Government School. Following the formal function, the Mokeda Kalavidaru troupe will stage the Tulu play Telipuvara Ath Bulipuvara.

The Trust has adopted the Bolanturu Government Higher Primary School and spent Rs 14 lac on its development. Each year, the Trust provides books and other essential facilities to students and pays honorariums to guest teachers. The organisation continues to work with dedication in both educational and cultural fields, the trustees stated.

Vice president Ibrahim Kailar, director Shobha Shetty, and school adoption coordinator Ramakrishna Rao were also present at the press conference.
