Sanguem, Jun 20: In a tragic incident, the body of 54-year-old caretaker Suresh Kahadkar was discovered in a decomposed state at his residence in Saudimol, Sanguem.
According to police, Kahadkar had been working as a caretaker for James Fernandes over the past year and was living in accommodation provided by his employer. Concern arose when he failed to report for duty for three consecutive days. Upon visiting his quarters, Fernandes found Kahadkar’s body and alerted the authorities.
The Sanguem police promptly arrived at the scene and sent the body to the South Goa District Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
A case of unnatural death has been registered, and further investigations are underway.
