Mangaluru, Jun 23: “Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind, and spirit.” said B K S Iyengar, renowned yoga guru.

St Agnes PU College celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with soulful enthusiasm on June 21 performing various asanas and pranayama as part of the Ayush Ministry’s syllabus under the theme ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health.’

The event, led by student MC Sanidhya Shetty, aimed to promote students’ health and well-being in this generation, and bring awareness about the benefits of yoga.

Jayashree, Chaithanya and Anita, faculty members of the college, oversaw the yoga session. The theme symbolizes the interconnectedness of all living beings and emphasizes the need for a healthy planet.

The programme was a resounding success, encouraging students to incorporate yoga into their daily routine, promoting a healthy lifestyle.
