Doha, Jun 23: The Goan Welfare Association is all set to celebrate Sao Joao in traditional Goan style with home-cooked Goan cuisine, authentic ambience, and cultural festivities. The event will be held on June 27, 2025, from 12 noon onwards at Al Rayyan Resort.
The celebration promises a lively and engaging experience with attractive prizes and surprises. Highlights include awards for the Best Kopel, novelty prize for well-jumping, and a variety of fun-filled activities. Participants will have the chance to win exciting prizes and hampers such as shopping vouchers for gold and diamonds, overnight stays in star hotels, household items, lunch and dinner vouchers, and more.
Guests can look forward to traditional Goan music and dance as part of the festivities. The event aims to recreate the spirit of Sao Joao in Qatar with great pomp and joy.
