Udupi, Jun 23: A delegation from the Udupi Bar Association, led by its president Renold Praveen Kumar, called on the newly appointed Superintendent of Police (SP) of Udupi district, Hariram Shankar, today and felicitated him with a floral bouquet.

During the meeting, the delegation requested the SP to give special attention to maintaining law and order in the district and improving traffic management in the city. They also brought to his notice the issue of space constraints at the Udupi City Police Station and urged that the Women’s Police Station, currently operating on the upper floor of the same premises, be relocated to a more suitable location.

The delegation extended an invitation to the SP to visit the Bar Association and participate in an interactive session. Responding positively, SP Hariram Shankar assured that he would visit the association in the near future.

The delegation included Bar Association office-bearers Rajesh A.R., Bailoor Ravindra Devadiga, Santosh Moodubelle, Jayakrishna Alva, and Aaroor Sukesh Shetty.
