Mangaluru, Jun 25: To enhance scientific thinking, knowledge and curiosity, science quiz was conducted at St Agnes High School on Tuesday June 24 under the title. 'One day as a scientist', It was the platform for the students with passion for science to shine and gain recognition, the quiz was held squad wise. Four members each from the different squads got a chance to participate. Students were divided into teams with creative and science- themed names, like eureka, orbit runners, spark lighters, cosmic scientist, nova, and so on. The quiz was conducted smoothly by the science teachers, with captivating content.

The competition featured a variety of conceptually rich rounds such as the MCQ round, step ladder round, visual round, who am I round, and the exciting rapid-fire round. Each round was designed to test the participants’ knowledge, speed, and reasoning abilities in different areas of science.

The non-participant students also got a chance to show their sharp thinking in the audience round.

The headmistress Sr Gloria AC encouraged the students to continue exploring the wonders of science with curiosity and dedication. She appreciated the dedicated efforts of science teachers Prathima K B Preethi Patrao and Prima Frank for making science come alive through a creative quiz.
