Mangaluru, Jun 26: The institution of management and commerce, department of BBA, Srinivas University, under the management forum, organized 'IGNITIA 2025 – One Spark, Many Voices', an inaugural event for the various forums and the BBA student council, on June 24.
The programme was graced and inaugurated by Mytreya A, chief operating officer at the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who served as the chief guest. Addressing an enthusiastic audience of over 300 students, Mytreya delivered an inspiring talk on leadership and personal growth, emphasizing the importance of initiative, responsibility, and collaboration in shaping future leaders.





As a symbolic gesture, the inauguration of the forums was marked by playing a special student video, the launch of student badges, and the oath-taking ceremony by the student coordinators and all BBA students. This moment captured the spirit of unity and commitment among the student body.
Dr Venkatesh Amin, dean of the Institution, delivered a motivational address that energized the gathering, encouraging students to aim high and make the most of opportunities provided by the university. Prof Shilpa K, head of the department of BBA, presented a detailed report on the forums’ previous activities and achievements, highlighting the consistent growth and student participation over the years.
The successful execution of the event was made possible under the guidance of Dr Venkatesh Amin and Prof Shilpa K, with the active coordination of Prof Shwetha N S, course coordinator, and forum in-charges – Prof Yashwini and Prof Ramitha B M. Their efforts, along with the unwavering support of the entire faculty team, were highly commendable and appreciated.
IGNITIA 2025 not only marked the beginning of a new academic year for the student forums but also ignited a spark of inspiration and ambition among the students. The event served as a platform to instil leadership values and encouraged the student community to plan and conduct more meaningful programs under the various forums. As the theme suggests – one spark, many voices – the event truly set the tone for a vibrant and dynamic year ahead.
