Mangaluru, Jun 29: Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru, in association with Samatha (R) Mahila Balaga, organised a special programme titled “Igniting the Future – ISRO’s Legacy and Beyond” on Sunday, June 22, at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru. The event featured a special talk and interactive session with Padma Shri Dr A S Kiran Kumar, former chairman of ISRO.

The programme was graced by Swami Jitakamanandaji, president of Ramakrishna Math, Mangaluru, who extended a warm welcome to the guests and blessed the gathering.

Vijayalakshmi R Rao, a member of the board of governors, Srinivas University, was also present and participated in the event, lending her support to this inspiring initiative.

Several dignitaries, academicians, and members of Samatha Mahila Balaga joined the occasion, which aimed at encouraging scientific temper and curiosity among students.

The event concluded with the felicitation of Dr Kiran Kumar in recognition of his outstanding contributions to India’s space achievements.
