Second PUC-3 results announced: 22,446 students pass, overall pass percentage touches 79.81%

Bengaluru, Jul 1: The Karnataka Education Department has officially announced the results of the Second PUC Examination-3, held between June 9 and 20, bringing relief and clarity to thousands of students. According to the department, 22,446 students have cleared the exam, registering a pass percentage of 20.22%.

A total of 1,11,002 students appeared for the third edition of the Second PUC examination, introduced to provide students an opportunity to improve their scores. Encouragingly, 11,937 students successfully improved their marks, reflecting the effectiveness of the supplementary attempt.

With the completion of the evaluation process for all subjects, the department has also released the cumulative results of all three PUC examinations conducted this academic year. As per official data, out of 7,09,968 students who appeared across all three exam cycles, 5,66,636 students have passed, recording an impressive overall pass percentage of 79.81%.

The initiative to conduct three rounds of Second PUC exams has been widely appreciated by students and parents alike, offering greater flexibility and multiple chances for academic improvement.

The department has urged students to check their results on the official portal and has directed colleges to begin the admission process for higher education accordingly.
