New Delhi, Jul 3: The Indian Navy has opened applications for unmarried men and women to join as Permanent Commission (PC) officers in executive and technical branches under the prestigious 10+2 (BTech) Cadet Entry Scheme.
Selected candidates will undergo a four-year BTech programme at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala, following which they will be commissioned as officers.

Vacancies and eligibility
A total of 44 vacancies have been announced, with a maximum of six seats reserved for women. Eligible candidates must be born between July 2, 2006, and January 1, 2009 (inclusive of both dates). The branch allocation into Executive and Technical (Engineering & Electrical) streams will be done at INA based on service requirements.
Educational criteria
Applicants must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class 10 or 12).
Exam requirement
Only candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) 2025 for BE/BTech are eligible. Shortlisting for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview will be based on the All-India Common Rank List (CRL) released by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
