Doha, Jul 5: Tulukoota Qatar marked a significant milestone with a magical evening of celebration, commemorating both its 25th Anniversary and the grand finale of its ambitious 25-week yoga journey. The event, attended by over 300 participants — including families, seniors, and children — showcased a profound commitment to health, harmony, and environmental consciousness.
Divya Shree, cultural secretary, opened the event with a powerful segment in Tulu, setting a rich cultural tone for the evening. This was followed by the president, Sandesh Anand’s warm welcome to all guests and dignitaries, including his excellency the Indian Ambassador to Qatar, embassy officials, heads of Apex bodies, and leaders of various Karnataka-based associations.













































































































































He highlighted Tulukoota Qatar’s 25-week yoga journey and impactful environment campaign; both organized as part of the silver jubilee celebrations. He emphasized the dedication of members, the involvement of youth, and the importance of unity and sustainability. With heartfelt gratitude, he thanked all contributors and encouraged everyone to carry forward the spirit of wellness and environmental responsibility.
The yoga journey — a heartfelt initiative that ran for 25 weeks — symbolized dedication, unity, and community spirit. The culmination event transformed into a vibrant gathering filled with joy, warmth, and shared energy. The program not only celebrated physical wellness but also emphasized a deeper bond among participants and a renewed connection with nature.
Special recognition was given to Vibhali, a certified Yoga Instructor, and her team of dedicated yoga trainers, who diligently guided the sessions throughout the journey. For their consistent participation and enthusiasm, Shobha Shetty and Venkatesh were awarded best yoga trainees.
The evening was expertly anchored by Sujith and Chaitali, who led the yoga and environmental segments with poise and enthusiasm. Visual memories of the event were beautifully captured by Darshan, Manoj, and Vathsa.
The yoga segment concluded on a high note with a sense of fulfillment and collective accomplishment.
A team photo was taken with all the attendees, dignitaries, and most importantly, His excellency Vipul, capturing the spirit of unity and celebration.
The event then seamlessly transitioned into the environment segment, emphasizing Tulukoota Qatar’s unwavering commitment to sustainability.
In alignment with World Environment Day, Tulukoota Qatar extended its efforts by distributing 300 saplings as a call to action for greener living. As part of its broader campaign, the organization also collaborated with Safari Mall on June 5th to host a special environment awareness campaign, featuring eco-friendly giveaways such as jute bags and seed pencils. The initiative successfully inspired hundreds, particularly young changemakers, to pledge their support for a sustainable future.
A highlight of the evening was the esteemed presence of his excellency Vipul, ambassador of India to Qatar, who not only participated in the yoga session but also planted a sapling, symbolizing hope and environmental stewardship. His words of encouragement deeply resonated with the audience.
