Lourdes Central School kindergarten organizes vibrant series of activities

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jul 7: To instil love and respect for Mother Nature, Lourdes Central School kindergarten organized a vibrant series of activities under the inspiring banner ‘Green is Our Theme, Nature is Our Dream.’

This initiative was designed for the students of Pre-KG, KG1, and KG2, with the goal of fostering environmental awareness from an early age.

The objective of the event was to help children visualize a cleaner and greener Earth—a dream that every young mind should nurture.

KG2 students stole the show with their thoughtful costumes and meaningful messages about saving trees. It was truly a delightful and heart-warming sight to see the little environmentalists in action. Their confidence and enthusiasm reflected a deep understanding of the importance of protecting our planet. All were touched by their enthusiastic performance.

Meanwhile, KG1 and Pre-KG students enthusiastically participated in collage work and leaf tracing activities, exploring nature through hands-on creative expression. Their curious eyes and eager hands brought life to colourful art pieces inspired by the beauty of trees and leaves. These activities not only sparked their imagination but also nurtured a love and appreciation for the natural world around them.

Principal Fr Johnson L Sequeira praised the students for their enthusiasm and thanked the teachers and parents for their support.

It was a delightful event that left everyone with a meaningful reminder of the importance of protecting the planet.
