Dubai, Jul 7: As part of the 50th International Suvarna Sourabha and Cultural Exchange organised by the International Cultural Sourabha Parishat (India), a grand event titled ‘Suvarna Sourabha’ was held on Sunday at the Park Regis Auditorium in Bur Dubai. The event was conducted in association with Genesis Ultima UAE and Dubai Saint Cultural Organization.
The programme featured a range of cultural performances including a book release, kodalu vadana (a traditional wind instrument performance), Bharatanatyam, and a poets’ meet (kavigoshti).

The highlight of the event was the official release of the book Maadakate Maaranantika authored by K M Iqbal Balila. The book was unveiled by Sarvotham Shetty, president of the Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha.
Speaking on the occasion, Shetty expressed hope that the book would successfully raise awareness to combat societal evils. He added that Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha has been encouraging literary and cultural activities for over three decades and will continue its support in the future.
In his introductory speech, K P Manjunath Sagar, founder president of ICFC (India), proudly shared that the organization has successfully hosted 50 Suvarna Sourabha cultural events in over 40 countries since 2004. “It is a matter of pride to organize the golden jubilee event in Dubai. This marks a significant milestone in the organization’s journey. Under the motto ‘We are global harmony seekers’, we have managed to travel across the world,” he said.
Dignitaries present on the dais included Dubai-based entrepreneur Udaykumar, Shodhan Prasad Attavar, president of Dubai Saint Cultural Organization, and Deepak S P, president of Dubai Billava Family.
The Suvarna Sourabha event witnessed the presence of achievers and distinguished guests from various Gulf countries. Aarathi Suresh extended the welcome address, while Gayathri Mahesh Bhat compered the programme and delivered the vote of thanks.
