Mangaluru: Expert PU College hosts career talk on architecture for first-year students

Mangaluru, Jul 8: A career guidance session titled ‘Architecture as a Career’ was held on Saturday, July 5, at the Cultural Centre of Expert PU College, Valachil, Mangaluru. The event was organised under the EDUPATH – The Journey of Success initiative and was aimed at providing first-year PU students insights into architecture as a professional path.

The session featured two prominent resource persons — Ar. Deepika A Nayak from Keystone Architecture and Ar. Nishith Urval, an ink artist and architect. They shared their experiences and insights on the dynamic scope of architecture, the academic journey involved, and the skills and creativity required to excel in the field.

The talk helped students understand not only the technical aspects of the profession but also the artistic and societal impact of architecture. The interactive session provided clarity on entrance exams, courses, and real-world opportunities available after pursuing a degree in architecture.
