Sullia: Bus conductor returns gold chain worth Rs 2 lac, earns praise for honesty

Sullia, Jul 11: In a commendable display of honesty, Shashank, a conductor of a private bus plying from Sullia to Adur via Mandekolu, returned a gold chain worth approximately Rs 2 lac to its rightful owner.

During the journey, a passenger accidentally dropped the gold chain in the bus. Shashank found the chain and handed it over to the bus owner, Mohan Guruji. The incident was later shared on social media, which helped identify the rightful owner.

Sirajuddin from Adur, who had lost the chain, came to Sullia, identified the chain, and received it from the bus driver and conductor. The conductor’s act of integrity has been widely appreciated.
