Mangaluru: Ryan International School holds Investiture Ceremony

Mangaluru, Jul 11: Ryan International School's investiture ceremony was held with tremendous respect and fervor on July 5.

The investiture ceremony of Ryan International School, was held with great dignity and enthusiasm on July 5. This solemn occasion marked the formation of the new student council for the academic year, and the official conferring of responsibilities to the young leaders of the school.

The event commenced with a prayer, followed by a scripture reading and a special prayer that invoked the blessings of the Almighty.

Students welcomed the distinguished guests in three different languages. The students of grade 6 displayed a spectacular welcome dance and mesmerized the audience with their grace and energy.

The chief guest, along with the principal marked the opening of the investiture ceremony, bequeathed the cabinet ministers with the power and positions, and installed the sashes and badges.

The principal led the cabinet ministers in the oath-taking, where the student council took a pledge to serve their school with sincerity and commitment. The core council members, cabinet ministers, house captains, the head boy, head girl vowed to fulfill their duties to the best of their abilities.

Karthik K, the recently elected school president, thanked the administration and promised to serve with commitment and purpose.

In his motivational speech, the chief guest, Rituraj Kashyap, assistant commandant, CISF Mangaluru, thanked and congratulated the newly elected ministers and advised them to follow the school's key values: compassion, discipline, leadership, teamwork, and honesty. He urged the students to become change agents and to make significant contributions to society through sustained, constructive initiatives.

Pavan K A the opposition minister, proposed a vote of gratitude. The investiture ceremony concluded with the school and national anthem and the tree plantation ceremony by the school council members aligning with the vision of thechairman, Dr A F Pinto: “Each One Plant One.”

The event was anchored gracefully by student comperes Chinmay Balaraj Suvarna and Jithisha Naini of grade VIII.
