CISF wins 64 medals at World Police & Fire Games 2025 in USA

New Delhi, Jul 12: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has brought pride to the nation by winning a total of 64 medals at the World Police & Fire Games 2025, held in Birmingham, USA, from June 30 to July 6. 

The World Police & Fire Games is a big international sports event where police and fire service personnel from around the world compete in various sports. This year, over 10,000 athletes from more than 70 countries took part.

The CISF team took part in 6 events and performed exceptionally well. Every player gave their best and showed great spirit, strength, and teamwork. 

Their success helped India finish third in the overall medal tally with 560 medals.

State wise achievement of CISF Athletes is given below: 

  • Haryana:

          Gurjeet Singh(Jind, Haryana):

(i)       Gold in High Jump

(ii)      Silver in Hammer Throw

(iii)    Bronze in Decathlon

(iv)    Bronze in Triple Jump

(v)     Bronze in Pole Vault 

          L/ASI Reenu (Hisar, Haryana):

(i)       Gold in 10 km Cross Country

(ii)      Gold in 5000 meters

(iii)    Gold in 10,000 meters

(iv)    Gold in Half Marathon

(v)     Gold in Half Marathon Team Event

(vi)    Silver in 1500 meters 

In Wrestling, CISF athletes from Haryana won all Gold medals: 

       ASI/Executive Sunny Kumar from Jhajjar

       HC/GD Ajay Dagar from Sonipat

       HC Harish from Sonipat

       HC Mohit from Sonipat

       HC Abhimanyu from Hisar

  • Bihar:

          Vijaya Kumari (East Champaran, Bihar):

(i)       Gold in 100m

(ii)      Gold in 4*100m Relay

(iii)    Gold in 4*400m mixed relay

(iv)    Silver in 200m

(v)     Silver in 400m hurdles

(vi)    Bronze in 400m 

  • Rajasthan:

          Uma Choudhary (Jodhpur, Rajasthan): Gold in Javelin Throw. 

  • Tripura:

          Madhumita Deb (Khowai, Tripura):

(i)       Gold in 4*100m relay

(ii)      Silver in 100m

(iii)    Silver in 400m

(iv)    Bronze in 200m 

  • Uttar Pradesh:

          Mukul (Amroha, UP):

(i)       Gold in Hammer throw

(ii)      Silver in Discuss throw

(iii)    Silver in Shotput throw

(iv)    Silver in Javelin throw 

          Babita (Prayagraj, UP) :

(i)       Gold in Polo vault

(ii)      Silver in Heptathlon

(iii)    Bronze in High jump

(iv)    Bronze in 4×100m 

          Km Sonam (Amroha, UP):

(i)       Gold in 4*400m mixed Relay

(ii)      Gold in 4*100m Relay

(iii)    Silver in Long Jump
