Kundapur, Jul 14: An orientation programme on ‘Child Psychology’ for parents was meaningfully organised at Vidya Academy School, which comes under the IMJ Group of Institutions, Moodlakatte.

The programme aimed to provide parents with a clear understanding of their children’s development, emotional activities and academic progress.

The main attraction of the programme was the participation of Girish M N, who serves as a mental health counsellor. He psychologically analysed the problems seen in children such as lack of confidence, stress, excessive use of technology, etc. He gave suggestions with examples on how parents can recognise children’s emotions, act with empathy and provide good guidance.

Speaking on the occasion, IMJ Institutions Brand Building director Dr Ramakrishna Hegde said that such interactions are very necessary for today’s parents. He said that Vidya Academy is always ahead in providing good education and holistic development of children.

The school’s managing director Pawan Mahesh guided the parents on the discipline, rules and daily activities of the school.

All the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school participated in the programme. This interaction was a significant moment that filled the minds of the parents with clarity, confidence and motivation.
