Heavy rain: All educational institutions in Kasargod to remain closed on July 17

Kasargod, Jul 16: In view of heavy rain and flooding, the district administration has declared a holiday for all educational institutions in Kasargod district on Thursday, July 17, as a precautionary measure.

District commissioner K Inbasekhar issued the order, stating that the holiday will apply to all schools, colleges, professional colleges, Kendriya Vidyalayas, tuition centres, madrasas, and Anganwadis across the district.

However, pre-scheduled examinations will be conducted as usual, the DC clarified.
