Udupi, Jul 20: Deepesh Deepak Shenoy, a grade 10 student at T A Pai English Medium School, Kunjibettu, Udupi a unit of the Academy of General Education, Manipal has been awarded third place in the UPU International Letter Writing Competition for Young People 2025 (Udupi Divisional Level), organized by the Department of Posts, Government of India, New Delhi. In recognition of his exceptional writing skills and thoughtful expression, Deepesh received a cash prize, a certificate, and a trophy.

Speaking on this achievement, the headmistress Vinoda Shetty remarked, “We are immensely proud of Deepesh’s accomplishment. His nomination for the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar—India’s highest civilian honour for children, conferred by the Ministry of Women and Child Development—further underscores his outstanding talent and dedication, this significant milestone adds yet another golden feather to the school’s crown as it approaches its golden jubilee, an institution founded by Padma Shri awardee Dr TMA Pai."

The headmistress, along with the management, faculty, non teaching staff, PTA, and alumni association, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Deepesh and wishes him continued success in all his future endeavours.
