Media Release
Mangalore, Feb 1: Visitors to the beaches in Mangalore and Malpe were in for a surprise, when recently, a group of youngsters suddenly broke out in a dance, or what is called, flash mob.
A flash mob is one in which a large group of people gather at a public location to perform a predefined action, typically a brief dance, and then disperse soon after the event is over.
The flash mob at Panambur beach occurred soon after the completion of the marathon event organized by Nitte Trust. The dancers entertained the crowd who too joined them in the ensuing fun.
It was a novel effort carried out by the team of the upcoming Tulu film 'Aamait Asal Eemait Kusal', to promote their film.
Malpe beach was the next to be rocked by the flash mob, adding fervour to the beach festival. The visitors to the beach were taken by surprise by the sudden onslaught of flash mob and began to gather in large numbers around the dancers, not knowing what was happening. Soon they understood what was going on and began to move to the rhythm of music and dance.
The dance was performed by Sizzling Troupe, Mangalore.
