Mangaluru's Advay Nimith Poojary clinches gold at Muay Thai national championship

Mangaluru, July 27: Mangaluru's Advay Nimith Poojary has emerged as the new national champion in the 54 kg weight category at the Golden Mongkhon Amateur National Muay Thai Championship, held at Force1 Skating Rink, Bengaluru, from July 25 to 27.

Representing Karnataka, Advay secured a dominant victory by technical knockout in the second round, showcasing his skill and composure in the ring. With this win, he has claimed his third national-level title in Muay Thai.







He is trained at Ground Born Fight Club and Fitness Centre in Mangaluru under the guidance of coach Shishir Poojary, whose mentorship has played a key role in Advay’s continued success.

The championship drew top fighters from across the country, and Advay’s commanding performance has further cemented his status as a rising star in Indian Muay Thai.
