Udupi, Jul 29: Sri Narayana Guru Yuva Vedike (R), Udupi, successfully staged the devotional Tulu drama "Koti Chennayer" at Xavier’s Hall, Udyavara.
Directed by Ranga Kesari Ramesh Rai Kukkundoor and performed by the Prakruthi Kalavidaru of Kudla, the play drew an overwhelming response from the audience. The auditorium was filled with over a thousand art enthusiasts.
On the same occasion, former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake unveiled the blueprint for a proposed garden (Udyanavana) dedicated to spreading the teachings of Brahmashree Narayana Guru. The Vedike has submitted a request through the former minister seeking government land at Kadekar for the project.


























In his address, Vinay Kumar Sorake lauded the Vedike for its consistent and commendable service to society over the years.
Several dignitaries were present at the event, including Udupi district Billava Yuva Vedike president Praveen Poojary, Urban Development Authority chairman Dinkar Herur, Sri Narayana Guru Yuva Vedike honorary president Sadashiva Amin Kattegudde, former zilla panchayat member Divakar Kundar, Udupi Urban Development Authority member Girish Kumar Udyavara, Shreyas Kotian, Vedike president Mithun Amin, Land Tribunal member Royce Fernandes, and other notable personalities such as Divakar Bolje, Shabarish Suvarna, and Sachin Salyan.
