Indian Railways launches ‘Rail One’ unified mobile application for passengers

Bengaluru, Aug 1: In a major step towards enhancing the convenience of train travel, Indian Railways has launched the 'Rail One' mobile application — a comprehensive, all-in-one digital platform that integrates multiple railway services under a single interface.

The unified app combines features of existing platforms such as IRCTC, UTS, NTES, and Food Track, offering a seamless user experience. With this app, passengers can book both reserved and unreserved tickets, track train movements, check PNR status, view coach layouts, place food orders, register complaints, and initiate ticket cancellations and refunds.

According to South Western Railway officials, users already registered with IRCTC or UTS can log in directly on the Rail One app without having to register again. Additionally, passengers making payments through Indian Railways’ internal digital payment platform, R-Wallet, will receive a 3% discount.

The Rail One app is now available for download on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
