Suhas Shetty murder case: NIA raids 13 locations in Bajpe, Suratkal

Mangaluru, Aug 2: In connection with the murder of Sangh Parivar activist and rowdy-sheeter Suhas Shetty, officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at multiple locations under Bajpe and Suratkal police limits on Saturday August 2.

According to sources, NIA officials carried out simultaneous raids at around 13 locations, including the residences of the arrested accused. The raids reportedly began around 6 am.

Suhas Shetty was murdered on the evening of May 1 while he was travelling with friends in a car. The attack took place at Kinnipadavu, within the jurisdiction of Bajpe police station.

Following the incident, the ministry of home affairs handed over the investigation to the NIA and issued an official order on June 7.
