Mangaluru, Aug 11: Anupriya Shetty, assistant professor and HoD, Department of Mathematics, School of Physical Sciences, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, has been awarded the degree of PhD for her thesis titled ‘A Study on Sets with More Products Than Quotients’ by the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal.
She carried out her research under the successful guidance of Dr Shankar B R, professor, Department of Mathematical and computational sciences, NITK, Surathkal.
She is the proud daughter of Venkappa Shetty and Shashikala Shetty from Jappinamogaru, Mangaluru, and wife of Lokesh Shetty, junior officer, materials department, MRPL, Surathkal.
