Ajman: GMC Hospital, Ajman hosts CNE program on Diabetic Nursing Care

Ajman, Feb 3: The Nursing Department of GMC Hospital, here in association with Health Communication Division of Gulf Medical University organized a Continuing Nursing Education programme and workshop on ‘Diabetic Nursing Care’ recently. The event was conducted by the Department of Internal Medicine, GMC Hospital, here.

The programme began with the recital from the Holy Quran after which Jinky welcomed the distinguished Speakers with floral bouquets. Simi James gave an introductory talk on diabetic nursing care. Dr Mahir Khalil Ibrahim, consultant, internal medicine delivered a lecture on the types of insulin and its administration. Dr Mohammed Sobhy deliberated on diabetic foot care and its management.

The seminar concluded with the panel discussion and recommendations on diabetic nursing care. Certificates of participation were distributed to all those who attended the all important event.

The nursing department of GMC Hospital, Ajman in association with Health Communication Division of GMU hold CNE Workshops on a regular basis.

All the events conducted by the Nursing Department of GMC Hospital, Ajman are reviewed and accredited by the Ministry of Health, UAE.
