Karkala: Manjunatha Pai Memorial Govt First Grade College holds special lecture

Karkala, Aug 19: A special lecture on ‘How to Crack Competitive Exams’ was held on August 19 at Manjunatha Pai Memorial Government First Grade College organized by the department of economics.

The resource person for the event was Shrikanth Poojary Biraw, district trainer, department of youth affairs and sports, Dakshina Kannada. He provided detailed information on the application processes and preparation strategies for a range of competitive exams, including UPSC, KPSC, SSC, and other all-India level, state-level, and quasi-government examinations.

The programme was presided over by the principal, Prof Suresh Rai K, and was graced by the presence of IQAC coordinator Vinay M S. It was a collaborative effort by Sowmya H K and Jayalakshmi, both associate professors in the department of economics.

The event commenced with an invocation by Ashwitha and Prajna of III BA. Hulgesh of I BA delivered the welcome address, and Jayalakshmi rendered the vote of thanks. Vilasini of III BA was the master of ceremonies. A total of 100 students benefited from the programme.
