Bangalore: Lokayukta Court Issues Summons to Yeddyurappa, Sons, Son-in-law

Bangalore, Feb 4 (PTI): The Lokayukta Court today issued summons to former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and five others to appear before it on March 3 for their alleged involvement in an illegal land denotification case.

Besides Yeddyurappa, Lokayukta Judge N K Sudhindra Rao also issued summons to Yeddyurappa's sons B Y Raghavendra, B Y Vijayendra, his son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar, former minister Krishnaiah Setty and directors of Dhavalagiri Properties Limited.

They are the main accused in the case which pertains to illegal denotification of government land in Rachenahalli and amalgamation of a public road on the outer ring road belonging to Vyyalikaval House Building Cooperative Society for pecuniary gain, causing loss to the state exchequer.

The Lokayukta judge also directed Yeddyurappa's sons and son-in-law to not only appear in court in their personal capacity but also as directors of Dhavalagiri Properties Limited.

The Lokayukta Police had submitted its inquiry report in October, 2011, on a private complaint by advocate Sirajin Basha.

    Yeddy you are too greedy, that’s why BJP inner circles make more & more trouble for you. Summons by Lokayukta nothing but keeping you away from your ambitions of becoming CM again. No need to blame Congress in today’s scenario since they are all busy how to save their own UPA government in 2G Scandal due to recent SC verdict

    THE KARNATAKA ROADS ARE THE BEST PROOF FOR DEVELOPMENT UNDER BJP RULE OF NEARLY 4 YEARS UNDER YEDYURAPPA. ALL THESE ROADS CAN BE CONSIDERED LIKE PADDY FIELDS WHERE IF IT RAINS CONSTANTLY, WE CAN HAVE A GOOD PADDY CROP. THIS IS THE DEVELOPMENT OF KARNATAKA THAT MANY ARE TRYING TO CONVINCE THEMSELVES AND OTHERS. BJP RULE HAS BEEN A "CIRCUS COMPANY" AS YEDDY HIMSLEF CONFESSED SO RECENTLY IN ONE OF HIS TALKS.

    WHAT THESE BJP AND ALLIED FORCES HAVE DONE IS SYSTEMATICALLY DESTROY HINDUISM AND ITS AGE OLD HOLIEST OF TRADITIONS TRYING TO TWIST THIER MEANING TO SUIT THEIR POLITICAL AGENDAS.
