Udupi, Aug 21: Malpe police arrested an accused who had been absconding with a theft case under Malpe police station limits.
The arrested accused is identified as Mohammad Sameer of Mangaluru’s Jeppu Market.
He had been absconding for the past 14 years.
The accused was apprehended in Mangaluru and produced before the court.
The judge has remanded him to judicial custody.
