Udupi, Aug 24: A KSRTC bus traveling from Ilkal to Mangaluru rammed into the Sasthan toll gate early Sunday morning around 4:45 am, leaving 13 passengers injured.
Preliminary reports suggest the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The bus was carrying 36 passengers at the time. Of them, 12 sustained minor injuries, while one woman was critically injured.
The injured were shifted to private hospitals and the Brahmavar taluk hospital with the help of Jeevan Mitra ambulance services and fellow passengers.
Kota police visited the spot, conducted an inspection, and registered a case in connection with the accident.
