Mangaluru, Aug 26: The High School Girls’ Basketball team of St Theresa’s School, Bendur, brought glory to the institution by clinching the championship trophy in the 15th James Naismith Cup 2025, conducted by the Mangalore Basketball Club (MBC).
The winning team comprised Nia Dhruvin Jasani – 9B (awarded best player of the tournament), Dwisha N Shetty – 9C, Sanvi Yadav – 8C, Abigail Treesa Issac – 9B, Misha Razak – 9A, Lisa Angela Rasquinha – 9A, Deona Jose – 8C, Aarushi R Shetty – 8A, Shukti Alva – 8D, Jhanvi Alva – 8B, Caren Pereira – 6A, and Areen Rawan Masood – 8C.
Adding to the pride, Nia Dhruvin Jasani was honoured with the best player of the tournament award for her outstanding performance.
The management, staff, and students of St Theresa’s School congratulated the champions, their parents, and the coach for this remarkable achievement that has added yet another feather to the school’s cap.
