Mangaluru, Aug 26: Srinivas University, Institute of Physiotherapy, With the vision of the chancellor, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, to establish Srinivas University as a global centre of excellence in education and research proudly announces its First International Physiotherapy Conference – SPARC 2025, to be held on August 29 and 30 at the New Pandeshwar Campus, Mangaluru.
The grand academic event, themed 'Revitalizing rehabilitation: Shaping the future of physiotherapy', will be inaugurated by the speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly, U T Khader, on August 29. The conference is expected to witness the participation of 1500 delegates from 4 countries, 10 states of India, and 35 physiotherapy colleges across India and overseas, marking it as one of the largest gatherings of physiotherapy professionals and students in the region.



The two-day academic deliberation will feature scientific sessions, paper and poster presentations, keynote addresses, and panel discussions by eminent national and international experts listed across different specialties like cardiorespiratory, oncology, ortho, neuro, women’s health, etc in rehabilitation sciences.
To enrich practical skills, pre-conference workshop on advanced cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation will be conducted on August 27 and 28 by Dr Samana Sayed (Dubai, UAE), while the post-conference workshops on Artificial Intelligence in rehabilitation will be led by Dr Waqar M Naqvi (Qatar), and on fascial manipulation by Kobi Weiss (Israel) on August 31. These workshops will provide delegates with hands-on training, global perspectives, and certification that add immense value to their academic and clinical expertise.
Adding a vibrant dimension to the conference, 'Fusion Fiesta' – the intercollegiate cultural competition – will be conducted on August 29 evening, featuring events like group dance, solo performances, skits, fashion shows, and more. Teams from various colleges will compete for cash prizes creating a lively platform to showcase talent and cultural diversity. In addition, the conference will also host a delicious banquet.
With the participation of leading academicians, clinicians, researchers, and students, SPARC 2025 is poised to be a landmark event in the field of physiotherapy, blending scientific knowledge with cultural celebration.
