Two arrested for running prostitution racket in Moodbidri

Moodbidri, Aug 27: Police have arrested two persons for allegedly running a prostitution racket in a building at Moodbidri town.

The arrested accused have been identified as Rajesh Bovi, a resident near Swarajya Maidan, Moodbidri, and Bharat Jain, a resident of Naravi in Beltangady taluk.

Based on credible information, police conducted a raid on a room located on the upper floor of a building on the road leading to a private hospital in Marpady village. The raid was carried out under the leadership of police inspector Sandesh P G, during which the two accused were taken into custody.

Moodbidri police have registered a case in this regard.
