Mumbai, Sep 3: The revered Shri Vedavardhana Teertha Swamiji of Udupi Shirur Math will be in Mumbai city from September 8 to 10.

As informed by the organizers, Swamiji will be staying at Shri Adamaru Math located at Irla, S V Road, Andheri West on Monday, September 8, and Tuesday, September 9, from morning onwards. On Wednesday, September 10, Swamiji will visit Madhva Bhavan (Pejavara Math), Santacruz East, where he will bless the devotees at Shri Vishwesha Teertha Auditorium from morning till evening.

Shri Bhimanakatte Math, Sri Samsthana of Shrimad Achyutaprekshacharya, worshipped by the sages Sanaka, revered through the unbroken lineage of Sharanas, consecrated by the victorious Lord Shri Ramachandra along with Sita and Lakshmana, magnificently established in the tradition of the saintly Bhimsetu lineage, and worshipped by the revered Jagadguru Shri Madhvacharya, had received a new golden initiation armour (Raksha Kavacha – Suvarna Kavacha) during the time of initiation.

Hence, Swamiji has resolved to offer a Golden Armour (Suvarna Kavacha) to Lord Ramachandra, prepared with 1.5 kilograms of gold, at an estimated cost of about Rs 1.5 crores.

During this sacred Chaturmasya season, this noble offering will be made to Lord Ramachandra. Devotees are humbly invited to participate in this auspicious initiative according to their capacity and become recipients of Lord Rama’s grace, stated the spokesperson of the Math.
