Kundapur, Sep 4: Moodlakatte Nursing College celebrated the festival of Onam with grandeur at the college premises on September 3, marked by vibrant cultural performances and active participation from students and staff members.

The celebration was inaugurated by principal professor Jennifer Freeda Menezes, who lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the spirit of festivity and togetherness.

The highlight of the programme was the traditional Thiruvathirakali dance performance by students, which beautifully showcased the rich cultural heritage of Kerala and captivated the audience. This was followed by a series of entertainment programs that added colour and enthusiasm to the celebrations.

To deepen the festive spirit, Risanna delivered a briefing on the significance of Onam in English, while N S Nikitha shared insights in Kannada. Various fun games were also organised as part of the event, and prizes were distributed to the winners, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.

Simsi welcomed the gathering. Programme coordinator Chandrashekar meticulously organised and coordinated the celebration. Sona delivered the vote of thanks. The event was compered by Teska, Sona, and Nidhi.

The Onam celebrations at Moodlakatte Nursing College not only brought joy and entertainment but also strengthened the spirit of unity, cultural exchange, and appreciation among students and staff.
