Byndoor, Sep 4: A married woman from Kerala has been arrested by Kerala police for taking a minor boy to Kollur and staying with him in a lodge. A POCSO case has been registered against her.

The accused has been identified as Sanoosha (27), a resident of Cherthala in Kerala.

Two days ago, both Sanoosha and a 17-year-old boy had gone missing, prompting their families to lodge complaints with the police. Since she had not used her mobile phone during the journey, police were unable to trace them. However, after reaching Kollur, the woman sent a message to her friend from her mobile phone, which led the police to track her location.

Based on the clue, Kerala police traced the duo at a lodge in Kollur, arrested the woman, and took her into custody. She has been remanded to Kottarakkara jail, while the boy has been sent back to his parents.
