Mangaluru: Carmel School celebrates Teachers’ Day

Mangaluru, Sep 6: Carmel School celebrated ‘Teachers’ Day’ with gratitude and enthusiasm on September 4. The highlight of the day was an inspiring address by Nisha Menezes, who spoke on the vital role of teachers in students’ lives.

The programme included a prayer service by class 10 students, a welcome dance, speeches, songs, and cultural performances dedicated to teachers. The principal honoured teachers who had won laurels for the school at the Inter-School Talent Competition held at SDM Law College on August 31.

The programme was compered by Aaliyah Fathima, Akshan Kotian and Rishan Kotian of class 10.

In the evening, the PTA organised a celebration with a prayer service, cake cutting, fun spot games, and distribution of tokens of appreciation, making the occasion memorable for all teachers.
