Mangaluru: Srinivas University organizes Orientation Programme 2025

Mangaluru, Sep 6: Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology organized its Orientation Programme 2025 on September 3 at Mukka campus.

The programme was held under the guidance of Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, honourable chancellor of Srinivas University and president of the A Shama Rao Foundation.

Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro-chancellor of Srinivas University, presided over the programme and delivered the keynote address. Change is the essence of life, and today technology is driving that change faster than ever. With ongoing research and the rise of AI, traditional engineering is evolving into advanced technical innovation. As engineers, let us embrace this transformation and contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.

Srinivas University registrar of Evaluation Dr Srinivas Mayya D said, "As a private university, we update our syllabus every year to keep students aligned with the latest technology. This ensures that when they step into the industry, they are already equipped with the knowledge and skills required to excel."

Dr K Satyanarayan Reddy, vice-chancellor of Srinivas University, elaborated on the university's offerings, infrastructure, and academic excellence. 

The event began with a warm welcome address by Dr Ramakrishna N Hegde, dean, SUIET. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Asha Saraswathi B. The programme was compered by Prof Rohan Fernandis.
