Udupi: Honesty in Profession Equal to Lord's Worship - Pejavar Swamiji

Udupi, Feb 8: “Lord Krishna had said that discharging duties honestly in one’s profession or vocation is equivalent of worshipping the Lord. For the success of any business, grace of the Lord, support of the people, and hard work of the employees, are very important,” said Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejavar Mutt here.

He was delivering benedictory address at the function organized at Hotel Kediyoor premises on Tuesday February 7 relating to the re-consecration of the idol of serpent god in the newly built rock shrine, Ashottara Kalashabhisheka, and Brahmakalashabhisheka.

On this occasion, he honoured all the employees of the hotel and various dignitaries who have contributed to the success of Kediyoor Hotel and others with significant achievements to their credit.

Trustee of Ambalpady Lord Janardana and Mahakali Temple, Dr Ni B Vijay Ballal, district and sessions judge, Narendrakumar Gunaki, presiding officer of the fast track court, S N Patil, entrepreneurs, Yermal Shashidhar Shetty, and Tonse Jayakrishna Shetty, participated in the programme as chief guests.

Astrological scholar, Kabyadi Jayaram Acharya, who has been leading the religious rituals for Nagamandalotsava and other religious programmes, and his wife, Vani Jayaram, were also felicitated by the Swamiji.

The ‘Tulabhara’ of the Swamiji was also conducted on this occasion with the help of coins, in the presence of MLA, K Raghupati Bhat and many other dignitaries. Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji weighed 39 kg, whereas the box containing divine items he carries with him always, weighed six kg. Gopalacharya and Dr H K Suresh Acharya presented the programme.

Halittu Seve and Nagamandalotsava are being performed at the venue on Wednesday.
