Porn in Karnataka Assembly: Gadkari Promises Action

Daijiworld Media Network

Allahabad/New Delhi, Feb 8: Karnataka has once again proved a thorn in the bush for BJP national leadership, with its ministers leaving Gadkari and Co red-faced yet again. The latest sleaze-gate in which three BJP ministers were caught watching a blue film in the Karnataka Assembly has embarrassed the top brass to no end.

Even as the incident has given good ammunition to the opposition in Karnataka and the central leadership to train guns on the BJP, the saffron party's national chief Nitin Gadkari has promised suitable action against the ministers.

While the ministers in question, C C Patil, Laxman Savadi and Krishna Palemar claimed that they resigned on their own, Gadkari said that it was the BJP that took action.

"It is an unfortunate incident. Enquiry will be done and suitable action taken. I also directed Karnataka chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda to take appropriate steps." he told reporters here.

He also termed the incident as an example of moral deterioration seen in every sector, be it administration, media or society."

Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley said that the party regrets the incident.

BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman hit out at Congress stating that they have no right to talk now when they themselves failed to explain the N D Tiwari case.

"The ministers have resigned and will undergo probe. No one should act as moral police, we all are responsible for what is happening in society," she added.

The BJP used Hindu religion for
    political gains, but the ignoble
    actions undertaken by the leaders
in Karnataka in looting at first,
now another sad event of porno
    addiction of the leaders, will
    terribly damage the party's image.
Moral and ethical strength is not
    only applicable to the religious
hierarchy, but also to the political leaders.

Gadkari promises action ? He will send more clips, CDs and DVDs to the Kar-nataka unit of the BJP ... What kind of the Ram rajya is the BJP unleashing ? Ministers (not just MLAs) watching pornographic films inside the hallowed precincts of the assembly - the Vidhana Soudha. Sir.M.V. must be cursing himself that the building he architected, is being used in such ways. And when were they watching this ? In the middle of a debate on what measures to be taken to alleviate the impact of drought on the various districts of the Karnataka ... Utterly distressing and shameful ...

This after the "rave" party hosted in an island of Udupi which is supported by the BJP and the government, where allegedly liquor flowed like water ... Where are the alleged custodians of Hindu morality and values - the Srirama Sene - who harassed girls a few years back hiding ? Let them come out and give a piece of their mind to the BJP. Let the custodians of sanatana dharma and the preachers of morality, nationalistic values the RSS come out and comment on the behaviour of the BJP and its ministers. All this after months of scandalous land grab, denotification scams, BBMP scams ...

Nirmala Sitaram. What a justification.. One ND Tiwari equals Three ministers and Halappa, Sampangi, etc.. Let us be matured.. Assembly is not a place to view this - wasting public money and not giving attention to the people issues. These persons to be barred for life from the whichever party they belong... Also source of this MMS to be traced along with how many persons this got circulated from Krishna Palemars mobile..
