Puttur: Fugitive arrested after 12 years by Uppinangadi police from Bengaluru

Puttur, Sept 17: After evading the law for over 12 years, a wanted accused was apprehended by Uppinangadi police from Bengaluru’s K.G. Halli and produced before the court.

The accused, Imran Khan (36), a resident of Shivajinagar, Bengaluru, was wanted in a case registered under FIR No. 140/2013 at Uppinangadi police station, relating to charges under Sections 354 (a), (d) of the IPC.

A court warrant had been issued for his arrest.

Following his apprehension, Imran Khan was brought before the court, which has ordered judicial custody.
