Udupi, Sep 18: Tanushree Pithrody, a second PU student of St Cecily’s School, Udupi, two-time Guinness World Record and seven times Golden Book of World Record holder, is all set to break her own record in the Golden Book of World Records by demonstrating 300 yoga asanas in one hour, at the event to be held in Bahrain Kannada Sangha Auditorium at 10 am on October 24.
Addressing a press conference held on September 17, Tanushree’s father, Uday Kumar, said, “Tanushree has already made her mark in the Golden Book of World Records by demonstrating 245 yoga asanas in 45 minutes in 2023. This time, she is determined to surpass her previous record and achieve a new milestone, attempting her 10th World Record in Yoga asanas.”

The event will be attended by Indian Ambassador Vinod Jacob along with several other dignitaries. The Bahrain Kannada Federation, which is organizing the programme, has invited several talented artists from Coastal Karnataka to showcase their skills in Bahrain, said Federation president Ajith Bangera.
Kurkal gram panchayat member Praveen Kumar Kurkal and Tanushree Pithrody were present during the press conference.
