Karkala, Sep 19: At the district-level inter-college football tournament organized under the aegis of the Department of Pre-University Education, Udupi district, and St Mary’s PU College, Shirva, students from Christ king PU College, Karkala, represented the Karkala taluk team and secured second place.
In the girls’ division, Ravina Kanwar of II Commerce and Suprabha of I Commerce secured the runner-up position. In the boys’ division, Mohammed Rifaz of II Commerce also emerged as runner-up.
The students’ performance has brought pride to Christ king PU College and added another feather to the institution’s sporting achievements.
