Udupi, Sep 23: Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi is conducting a Free Paediatric Eye Screening Camp for children aged up to 18 years, from September 25 to 27 from 9 am to 5 pm.
These services are particularly beneficial for individuals who have frequent headache, children who use excessive mobile phone, computers, sit too close to TV and hold books very near, children with squint, head lift or frequent rubbing of eyes, children who have family history of spectacle and high eye power etc.
Speaking on the initiative, Dr Rajaram Pai, deputy medical superintendent of Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi, said that in current day scenario increased screen time among children it is very important to detect and treat eye related problems as early as possible.
